Collection of Bento Boxes I

One of my friend managed to find these two sets of Bento Box from Daiso and immediately, she grab a set for me since she knew that I am collecting Bento Boxes :) Thank you so much and it's really so nice of her to have me in her shopping list too.... :) (updated: 13 September 2008)

My colleague Rebecca knows that Reyon and I are big Pooh Fans.... so she bought us this 2 tier square lunchbox with handle for us to go for picnic. Thank you pal for your warm thoughts. This lunchbox still come with a attached spoon....... (Updated: 11 September 2008)

Recently I had being making Triangle Shape Onigiri so I thought of getting this cute kids' size Onigiri lunchbox so that we might be able to use it for one of our picnic trip.(updated: 09 September 2008)

These are the collection of bento boxes for Reyon and myself. As you can see, all the Pooh design boxes are definitely belong to Reyon rather than me. Em.....maybe I can consists getting myself a set of the Hello Kitty Lunch Box :)

This is definitely Reyon's most favour Pooh Bento because of the cute POOH Face design. The 1st sight when you look at it, it's almost similar that Pooh himself is smiling at you. And this lunch box has a detachable compartment that you can either divide the box into two or you can use it as it own. You can use this box to put the Pooh Face Shape Bread (or click here to view the bread cutter)that we used to make in another post.

This Hello Kitty Bento box is the same price and size as the above Pooh Lunchbox that Reyon had. It come in the shape of Kitty Head Print and with a extra side compartment inside to divide the food area.

This is my 2nd collection of Pooh Design Bento Box which I bought at a local gift shop. It's consists of two layer container with multi-compartments and a pooh print design bag to put the bento box.

This is Reyon's 1st Pooh Bento box from Aunty Julia get for him especially from Japan when she return during her visit. Until now I still keep it well and didn't actually used it as it's such a treasure for us. Guess when Reyon is older, it will be time for me to take these boxes out to make something really interesting for him to bring to school as lunch or snacks.

When reyon is a crazy about Mickey Mouse cartoon, I also bought a set of this Mickey Shape Bento for him to put snack while going for our usual picnic. This mini bento box consists of 3 different sections where you can use the black mickey face as a bowl for the and the red and white compartment as the main dish portion.

This is one of my favour mini bento set that I used to pack some simple snack to bring to office and share with my colleagues. As it had 3 small compartments, it is just nice for the 3 of us to share our tea-time snacks. You can take a look on one of the sample tea snack that I had prepared for them.

This is also another one of my bento box which consists of two main compartment for rice and main dish. This is a slightly bigger box for adult portion rather than kid. I got this from Daiso which cost only S$2.00. If you are looking for some really cool and economic bento, do go Daiso and take a look, maybe you can find something interesting. Posted by Picasa

This is definitely Reyon's most favour Pooh Bento because of the cute POOH Face design. The 1st sight when you look at it, it's almost similar that Pooh himself is smiling at you. You can use this box to put the Pooh Face Shape Bread (or click here to view the bread cutter)that we used to make in another post.

Saw this cute little Pooh & Friend's cup on sale so I immediately thought of getting one to replace one of Reyon's drinking cup. And it is indeed a right choice because Reyon darling love it alot :)

This is my 2nd collection of Pooh Design Bento Box which I bought at a local gift shop. It's consists of two layer container with multi-compartments and a pooh print design bag to put the bento box.

Pooh Bento Box. The bottom layer is mainly used for Rice and the Main Dish while the top layer is more for side dishes like pickles and beancurd or dessert.

This little cute Winnie The Pooh Face Egg Mould is a must to add into my Pooh Collection because Reyon loves to eat hard-boiled egg and I am sure this Pooh shape egg mould will definitely catch his attention on the Pooh Shape Egg during his meal time. You can make your egg look like a cutie Winnie The Pooh Face with this mould.

Cooking Instruction:
1. Hard boil a large-sized egg and peel off the shell while the egg is still hot.
2. Put the egg inside the mould.
3. Lock the mould and put it in the cold water.
4. After 10 minutes, you can enjoy an extremely cute boiled egg with Winnie The Pooh Face.

This is most of the items that is out of stock from the list that I ask my friend to get for me in Japan. But now since we have the opportunity to get this mini Pooh Sandwich Ring Mould with stencil in Singapore, you bet I will surely add it to one of my Pooh collection. Although most of the moulds are in similar shape and usage but then it's really hard to control in getting one of this as the collectable items.

Winnie The Pooh Plastic Rice/Sushi Mould is ideal to use for either Bento or Lunch box to make Kid's meal more interesting. The mould set is very details and excellent in quality which you can mould out a very cute Pooh Face shape rice ball to set in a bento together with some decoration on the face features.

Do you wan to fry some pancakes, crepes or eggs in the same of this Huge Pooh Face? This metal Pooh Face Pan will do the trick for you in order to help you whip up some interesting breakfast items for you or your kids at home. Posted by Picasa

Winnie The Pooh Kitchen Utensils Collection Part I

In order to add these Pooh Bakeware to my collection. I must sincerely give my Thanks for one of my dear friend Julia. I must thanks her and her husband for taking the effort to help us source for the Pooh Series Bakeware and sent them to us all the way from Japan. Reyon and I really appreciate it and your effort really bring Big and Warm smiles to this little fan of Pooh. Thank you so much, my dear friend. I am sure all these cutters and bakeware will bring a lot of innovative ideas to Reyon's meal.

This is the Pooh Bread Cutter which can used to make a palm size sandwich for either kid or adult. It's so cute and adorable that you won't bear to eat the sandwich that you made. I had used this cutter to make a cute Pooh Sandwich for Reyon on one of his breakfast. Eg: Reyon's Pooh Breakfast

I struggle a long time to select either this Pooh Ring Mould or a Pooh Pancake Mould. Actually these two serve similar purposed but great different in prices so after much consideration, I choose the Pooh Ring Mould instead which can be act as a cutter or mould to make bread of pancake. Em... do you wan to have a plate of these Pooh Pancake for Breakfast or snack?

Finally I got a set of this 3D Pooh Cookie Cutter which I am going to use it to make some cookie for Reyon's class during Teacher's Day or Children's Day celebration. And I am sure everyone of them will be delighted to received something so cute like this.

This is a vegetable cutter, which u can cut shapes of Pooh's vegetable like carrot or radish to decorate the bento set or etc. But other than a vegetable cutters, I do see people use it a a cookie cutter or whatever usage that you can think of.

I also got a set of Pooh Silicon Cake Mould this which I thought of using it to make either sponge cake, jelly, mooncake or even act as sushi rice mould. Actually there are a lot of ways to use each item for as long as you can create something out of it. Posted by Picasa

These are the Pooh & Tigger and Pooh & Piglet Disney Cookie Cutter Sets. They come in a set of two which you can get it from BHG Bugis in Singapore. But they are always out of stock due to the high demand. You can make use of these cutters to do many creative items such as Cookies, Pooh Sandwiches, Snowskin Mooncake or etc....

Assorted Sushi Moulds

I got all these collection of assorted Sushi Rice Mould shown below from Daiso. They really come in handy when making Kid's bento for beginner like me who is not good at moulding the rice with the sushi mat.

After moulding the rice from the shape. You can actually start to decorate it with bites or corn, carrot, cucumber or even seaweeds. It's up to individual to decorate based on your own creation.

Saw this cute little individual sushi moulds from Daiso Plaza Singapura. And immediately Reyon grab one of each design and put into the shopping basket. He told me that he wants to make "Face" sushi using these moulds.

This type of sushi mould really makes traditional sushi like Nigiri and Maki easier for homemaker like me. What you need to do is to wet the mould, the stuff it with the cooked sushi rice, press tight and de-mould it to get the desire shape before adding the topping and wrap with seaweed strips. Eg: Sample picture of the assorted sushi made using these moulds.

You can used these moulds to make assorted Onigiri (rice balls) which is also known as Omusubi. It is a snack of Japanese rice formed into triangle or oval shapes and often wrapped in nori (edible seaweed). Traditionally, the onigiri is filled with pickled ume fruit (umeboshi), salted salmon, katsuobushi, or any other salty or sour ingredient. Eg: Sample picture of the mini rice balls for kid's bento and Assorted Onigiri using the mould to make the rice. Posted by Picasa

Hello Kitty Baking /Cooking Utensils

Recently, I started to have this interest on collecting the Hello Kitty Theme baking and cooking utensils. They are really cute and innovative to use as a creative tools for making cute meals for the kids as well as adults.

These are some of the gifts from my friends which added on to my collection. Reyon loves the Kitty Sushi Rice Mould as well as the Egg Moulds which he always request them to be used whenever he wanted to eat Sushi. These moulds are very useful as you can used them to make Snow Skin Mooncakes as well....... :)

This Kitty Head Bread cutter is so cute that it can actually make a adult size portion of sandwich compare to the mini type that I used above. I had used this cutter to make a cute little kitty sandwich for Reyon during one of the breakfast. Eg: Reyon's Kitty Breakfast

Next is this Kitty Cookie Cutters collection, they come in different kitty design stamps which can make into interesting kitty cookies that bring joy to all ages of kitty fan......

When I saw this, I immediately bought it. Because I knew I wanted to make these cute little sandwiches for Reyon. This set come with a metal cutter and a kitty stencil to make the features in more detail. Eg of the end-products: Mini Kitty Bread

I bet you will love this Kitty Ring Mould which can act as a cutter or mould to make bread of pancake. How fortunate it will be like if you can have a plate of these Kitty Pancake for Breakfast or snack........

I bought this 3D Hello Kitty Cookie Cutter because I want to make something for my friend and her kids who loves Kitty. And my 1st inspiration was actually from a Japaness Site that sells Winnie The Pooh 3D cookie cutters. Since I can't get hold of the Pooh's cutter from Singapore, it's good that I can find this Kitty version and make something useful out of it :)

This is the 1st set of Microwave Kitty Sponge Cake Mould that I bought two years ago during a shopping trip. I bought this set because the I thought other than making sponge cake I might use it to make small cute jellies for kid's party or even mould them into sushi rice with these cute shapes.

These are cute little Kitty Vegetable Cutters that use to stamp out Kitty Image on Root vegetables like carrot, radish or pumpkin and serve them on bento meals or pasta. You can even use it as cookie mould.

I find these stencil will be useful if I need to make small cupcakes or cake and I can use it to do some simple decoration on top of it.Posted by Picasa
